My name is Jillian Hibdon and I am 20 years old a graduate from Marion High School in 2010 . I am currently going to school to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner when I'm not at the daycare with the kids.  I choose pediatrics because I love and care for kids so much that I couldn’t imagine doing anything else for my career. Watching kids learn and grow every day is so exciting and the things they learn in my care is a wonderful  experience. I  know that working with the kids will teach me so much and I’m so excited to be apart of Latanya’s Little Hands staff to be able to shape  children here to encourage them to be all they can be and nothing is impossible . I know that it will be challenging at times, but I am more than ready to laugh, learn, and play.

Our Staff

  • Lead Teachers possess an associate degree/ or attended an accredited program in the fields of education and child development.
  • Teacher Assistants and aides have completed all required and advaced level training.
  • In-service training and professional development is continually provided to all staff in the areas of early childhood education, child development and the High Scope philosophy, and teaching strategies.
  • Maintain certification in first aid along with infant/child and adult CPR in addition to SIDS.
  • Staff are annually trained in the areas of safe infant sleep, prevention of shaken baby syndrome, medication administration, child abuse and neglect mandated reporting, and blood borne pathogens, as well as reviews of all of our health and safety policies.
  • Staff are members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Texas Association for the Education of Young Children, and the High Scope Membership Association.
  • Each staff member strives to create a warm and loving environment filled with experiences that will foster intrinsic motivation to enjoy school and learn!
